Reddi Media Founder – Jo Wade

Jo Wade established Reddi Media after 16 years working in the media and public relations industry.

Reddi Media is her latest venture in a not-so-traditional career path that’s traversed fashion and media industries, state and local government organisations and small business. The best part of all that experience is the skills, knowledge and relationships developed along the way.

She started her working life in Melbourne’s fashion industry, first as a patternmaker and later as a designer creating garments for some of Australia’s largest retailers,

and she loves the satisfaction of making creative ideas a reality.

There was a change in her career direction following a move to the country, where she discovered what life is like in a small town as well as what’s involved in running a small business. She started work as a journalist at a regional newspaper after completing a degree in public relations and journalism. Which was a brilliant and busy introduction to working in media and capturing the stories of country life.

A move into a public relations role as the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority’s media and communications manager for eight years involving media relations, developing and implementing corporate communications, developing content for newsletters, websites and social media, corporate publications and event management, all providing the foundations for her media, public relations and marketing consultancy business.
